Abstract:
The nematode parasite Philometriodes parasiluri (Yamaguti, 1935) was recorded for the first time in Perccottus glenii from the Danube River in Serbia. This record is new for the parasitic fauna of both the Balkans and Serbia and represents the consequence of invasion of Amur sleeper into the Danube River.
