Abstract:
The strong positive anizometry for the growth-in-weight was the characteristics of trophy-size huchen from the River Drina. Comparison between trophy-size huchen from the River Drina and those from rivers Una and Sana for their growth revealed they do not differ significantly, either -in-mass, or -in-length. In smaller huchen from the River Drina, the strong negative anizometry for the growth-in-mass was recorded. Two specific breakpoints in growth for huchen from the River Drina were found, the first one at 49.6 cm SL and 3.005 kg, and the other one at 110.0 cm SL and 16.541 kg. The first breakpoint corresponds to the reported period of sexual maturity attainment, whereas an explanation for the second breakpoint as an approach to senility has no firm support, yet.
