Title: | Linear growth and some ecological characteristics of the roach Rutilus rutilus (L., 1758) in Zapadna Morava River (Serbia, Yugoslavia) | Authors: | Marković, Goran S. Simonović, Predrag D. Simović, Slavica Ž. |

There was no significant difference of the growth-in-length between sexes. Within the examined river section, the biggest growth-in-length was recorded in the reservoir profile, with slow water current (i.e. almost stagnant water) and the most favourable life conditions regarding food, spawning sites, etc. |
