dc.description.abstractInvestigation of the Tisa River phytoplankton community was carried out directly after the cyanide spill in 2000. The investigation took place near Bečej from February of 2000 to January of 2001. We observed 374 taxa from eight algal divisions. The highest biodiversity was recorded among the divisions Chlorophyta and Bacillariophyta.en_US
